HEY, THERE. I’M ELLIE!
My name is Ellie Stahlmann, and I’m a professionally trained makeup artist.
I got my start back in 2014 with Sephora, but makeup has always been a passion. Dealing with problematic skin my whole life, I understand that makeup is personal and often very tricky. I’ve made it my mission to learn about proper skin care – understanding the layers of skin and what ingredients work best to combat a problematic areas.
At Sephora I began to learn techniques to correctly match universal skin tones and emphasize prominent features. This led to a desire to further my education with multimedia makeup.
I enrolled in Faces Etc. of Minneapolis, Minnesota’s premier makeup artistry school, in July of 2016. There I took my passion to the next level. Now, I’m honored to share my passion and knowledge with you. And I’m excited to show the world my creative work!
I truly believe that beauty comes from within, but with the right tips and tricks, why not elevate what you were born with?! Let that glow from within shine through!

If you are thinking of hiring Ellie for your wedding day makeup, don't even second guess it and just do it! Ellie did an absolutely amazing job on my wedding day makeup. I can honestly say that is the best my makeup has ever looked. Throughout the entire night, I was getting endless compliments and was told multiple times that I was the "most beautiful bride ever". My bridesmaids also looked and felt amazing as well, we still talk about how gorgeous we all felt and what an incredible job Ellie did. The makeup also stayed all night long, I love to dance and only left the dance floor two or three times, and even with the late July heat and all the dancing, the makeup held up. I also was super indecisive over what I wanted my look to be, and honestly was probably a bit of a pain, but Ellie put up with it like a champ and really listened to me to help figure out exactly what it was that I wanted, and the final product was better than I could have ever imagined.
